Accessing Design & Content Settings:
- Got the the Hipporello Admin panel.
- Proceed to “User Portal” and choose “Preview & Customize” to find the customization options and personalizing your service desk portal.
General:
- Logo and Cover Image: Add your organization’s logo and a cover image to the portal’s header and background, respectively, for a strong visual identity.
- Social Share Image: Add an image that is displayed when a webpage is shared on social media platforms.
- Color Scheme: Personalize your portal’s color palette, including the banner background, primary colors (for buttons and form titles), body text, and button text colors, to match your brand’s aesthetic.
- Banner Overlay: Adjust the banner overlay for better readability, especially useful for bright images or to enhance text visibility against complex backgrounds.
- Favicon: Update the favicon to reflect your brand, visible in the browser’s address bar, enhancing brand recognition.
- Service Desk Name and Portal Language: Change the service desk name that displays on the user portal. It is also possible to change portal language from this menu. You can change your admin portal language or wording from Settings > Language & Preferences
- Domain Configuration: Change the portal address from this menu. You can also add custom domain to your portal.
Homepage Layout:
- Header Customization: Modify the header title and search box placeholder text as per your branding requirements. For portals linked to multiple boards, adjust their titles, visibility, and icons in the “Boards” section.
- Social Media Links: Direct visitors to your social media profiles by adding links beneath the search box, enhancing your online presence and engagement.
- Forms Customization: In the “Forms” section, you can edit the titles of your forms as they appear on the main page, ensuring clarity and brand alignment.
- Form groups and announcements: It is also possible to add different form groups, articles or announcements to the same portal by clicking the “Plus” button. Use the “Announcements” feature to communicate important updates or information on your user portal.
- Footer Links: Enhance navigation by adding footer links. Click on “+Add Another Link” and provide the link title and address, making it easier for users to explore more about your services.
